The temporary Clean Air Zone workers' exemption ended on 31 May 2022.

If you meet the following criteria, you may be able to apply to the vehicle scrappage and travel credit scheme:

  • you are the registered keeper of a vehicle that will be charged, and you have owned that vehicle since 10 September 2018
  • you work at least 18 hours per week at a business premise situated within the Clean Air Zone
  • you earn no more than £30,000 a year
