Our work to improve Birmingham’s air quality has only just begun. With the launch of the Clean Air Zone and Birmingham Clean Air Strategy, we’re very much on a journey now to a greener future.
We’ve now begun our campaign get the conversation going about air pollution in Birmingham.
Support our campaign using #brumbreathes with a pledge of your own about what you will do to make a difference - it could be a video log, or a blog or a selfie.

Malika - Year 6
Feeling that air pollution is an increasing danger to society, Malika is pledging to do more at home and at school to make a difference.
Mason - Year 6
With air pollution becoming an increasing danger, Mason feels that working together will help make a greatly.
Jack - Year 6
As air pollution worsens across the country, Jack believes that working with communities to educate people more is a positive step forward.

Councillor Zaffar, Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment at Birmingham City council pledges to do more to make a positive difference.

Councillor Bridle will continue working to support schools educating their students and communities about the dangers of air pollution.
