Recovery vehicles
Recovery vehicles which will be subject to a Clean Air Zone charge can apply for a permanent exemption if they are:
- used exclusively for vehicle recovery
- over 3.5 tonnes
For each vehicle, you will need to provide copies of all of the following documents:
- V5C logbook (inside page showing the vehicle details)
- Insurance documents
- LOLER certificate
In addition, businesses which meet the eligibility criteria could apply for funding to upgrade their fleet through the Heavy Duty Vehicle Fund.
